Adrienne started highland dancing when she was 8 years old, having studied ballet since she was 3. She learnt from the first non-Scottish World Champion, Flora (Grubb) Charter. When she moved to Sydney she learnt from the great Dorothy Kerr (who trained Flora Charter) and then danced with the Dorothy Kerr Highland Dancers, the Blairgowrie Highland Dancers and her own Sydney Southern Cross Highland Dancers around Sydney for over 20 years. 

Adrienne teaches highland dancing in Rozelle and has produced many successful competitive dancers, but mostly loves bringing out the spirit of highland dancing in her students whether they wish to compete, undertake examinations or just love to dance.
